Guide to Security  Services

There are many types of Security Services and it has become a common feature in various applications today. In order to provide security for an organization, it is necessary to deploy several security solutions, including software or hardware based Security Services. These Security Services is often used to provide different levels of security, like the most common solution is through a software-based system. Security services is a specialized service, offered by an additional layer of communication open networks, that ensures adequate security of data transfers, networked systems defined by ITU T X.800 Recommendation.

The most commonly used Security Service is software based. Software based security solutions come with their own benefits, namely that they enable better control and visibility over a network. These security services is often designed by professionals who have the appropriate expertise to design secure applications that are compatible with the needs of users.

Security Services can be found in different forms such as: Application Delivery Management (ADM), Application Control, Anti-virus, Antivirus, Browsing Protection, Database Security, Disk Security, Email Security, Firewall, Hosting Security, Intrusion Prevention, LAN Security, Multiprotocol Switching, Network Security and Public Key cryptography. The most common Security Services is the ones provided through Application Delivery Management or ADM. ADM manages the installation of software on the network, manages software licenses, provides control over software updates, provides security services and supports updates, security updates, and provides users with security updates. Applications such as Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SQL Server, Adobe Reader and Windows Internet Explorer are available in the form of ADM packages.

Application Control is another type of Security Services. This Security Service includes features that help in preventing, detecting and responding to security threats in real time. Examples of these Security Services include Automatic Application Detection, Application Monitoring, Application Response Management, Application Updater, Application Security Policy Management, and Application Security System. Application Control Security Services is usually provided as part of the integrated security management package.

Browsing Protection is one of the most common types of Security Services, this is provided through Browsing Protection. Browsing Protection provides protection from web attacks on websites that are used to conduct ecommerce. These attacks include cross-site scripting attacks, SQL injection, cross-site scripting attacks, XML injection and XSS (XML Attacking). Browsing Protection helps in preventing attackers from obtaining sensitive information such as passwords and banking or financial information.

Database Security is an important type of Security Services. It ensures that data is secured from loss due to accidental deletion, malicious software application misuse or corruption. Database Security Services protects the integrity, confidentiality, availability, and accessibility of database and information and files. Database Security Services includes Database Backup, Database Recovery, Data Protection, Data Backup and Data Recovery, Enterprise Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
